Acupuncture (Dry Needle)
The Myofascial pain syndrome is the most common cause of musculoskeletal pain in medical practice and a growing sign of workers and elderly population groups. The pain is usually diffuse, sharp, stable way of cramping and a characteristic reflection from adjacent anatomical regions. The diagnosis is based on identification by palpation or algometro, trigger points or sensitive areas on muscle mass, muscle or muscles are affected. The presence of trigger points is considered the most reliable criterion for Myofascial pain syndrome.
Fibromyalgia is a musculoskeletal pain syndrome characterized by chronic widespread pain (by stepping along the spine, particularly in the neck, shoulder, chest, lateral cartilages, loin, leg) and sensitivity to specific anatomical regions termed sensitivity points (tender points). The syndrome is accompanied by dysfunction of the neuroendocrine system, sleep disturbances, severe fatigue, morning stiffness and various psychogenic effects. Considered as belonging to "economic growth was in pain syndromes" (pain amplification syndromes) with chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic daily headache, pelvic pain syndrome and the syndrome of temporal structure. These conditions are described as "disease-related stress".
For the pain of these two syndromes occur as a side effect to impaired mobility or because of cerebral palsy or because many other diseases, the use of dry needle is a technique that relies solely on mechanical stimulation and deactivation points trigger, without use of drugs. The technique is painless and can be applied simultaneously in many different muscle groups.
